I was introduced to my first
Sphynx by my son, it was then when my heart was captured by
this breed. I was just fascinated by their looks, personality
and affection. Some people describe them as part child, part
monkey and part dog. I had been without cats for almost
thirty years. It was shortly after I got married, when I
discovered that my husband was allergic to my Russian Blue and
Siamese. Little to say, I was heartbroken; but, I did find
them a loving home.
After having done quite a bit of
research on the Sphynx, I discovered that some people that are
allergic to cats, could actually live with a Sphynx. To me,
this was almost too good to be true, so I decided to take that risk,
well I was one of the lucky ones, I found out that this breed does
no bother my husband, that was when I decided to breed them. I
have been breeding Sphynx for five years, I concentrate on quality
and not quantity. Our adult cats and kittens have the run
of the house, which they share with two dogs and an African Grey
parrot. All of our kittens are extremely socialized, they are TICA
registered. I am located in the Chicagoland area. If you
are interested in one of the kittens, you can contact me for
possible showing and availability. I also want to make sure that the
potential buyers are ready to accept the responsibilities that go
along with owning a
kitten. |
